NEW & IMPROVED Sigmax Kabuki Brushes
I just found out a few weeks ago that Sigma recently changed their Sigmax line and added a new brush in the kit. Of course I had to go and buy it. I adore my F80 for foundation so I wanted to see the new changes in the line.

Honestly, nothing really changed that much besides the fact that the handles are glossy instead of matte and the new F86 brush. Still, I don’t mind having two F80 brushes. :3
So anyways, I already did a review on the F80 brush a while ago so click here for a review on that brush.
Now onto the other brushes….
The Sigma F82 Round kabuki is a great brush for cream foundation. It has the same effects as the F80 but the rounded shape fit easily around the nose area and eyes. This brush blends foundation a little bit better than the F80. To me, I don’t really think this brush is essential but it is a great brush to be added to your collection.

Sigma’s F84 Angled Kabuki is a great brush for contouring or adding blush. Most likely for contouring. Be careful because these brushes are so dense, they’ll dispense a lot of product.

The Sigma F86 Tapered Kabuki was difficult for me to use at first. It took me a while to think of what I could use this brush for. As I was looking through my collection, I came across my Chanel Soleil cream bronzer and I realized I could use this brush for that.
I had a hard time using my cream bronzer because if I used a natural haired brush for it, the creamy texture would ruin my brush but because the F86 is sythetic, the cream based product won’t damage my brush. Which is great because the tapered shape of the brush is great for getting into the cheekbones so I prefer to use this brush for contouring.

Really, the only pain about these brushes is the fact that they are a pain in the ass to wash. They’re soooo dense that you have to clean for a looong time to actually deep clean this brush and make sure all the makeup is out of the bristles. Also it takes FOREVER to dry. Which is why it’s good that I have two F80 brushes because I use that constantly.
